What can I do when the PIN is not requested despite activation?

You have provided additional protection to your mail.com Mail App for Android with a specified PIN. The PIN is not requested immediately, but after a certain period.

You don´t know why the PIN isn´t requested immediately, but only after a certain period.

Setting "Request Pin to" not set up as "manual"

The PIN request can be changed in the General Settings of mail.com Mail App for Android geändert werden.

Set up the PIN-request

  1. Tap the menu symbol in the menu bar.
    The menu navigation is shown.
  2. Tap the gearwheel symbol.
  3. Tap General settings.
  4. Under Data protection, tap PIN code required.
  5. Enter a 4-digit PIN and confirm it.
    1. If you wish to change your PIN, you must first enter the original PIN for unlocking before choosing a new PIN.
