Sharing items with external applications

    Share a file or folder from your Cloud with external applications to make them available for other people.

    Info:

    You can only share one item at once.

    1. Select the file or folder you want to share by tapping the file or folder name and not releasing it until a checkmark appears on the left.
    2. Tap the share icon at the bottom right.

      A new window appears.
    3. To configure sharing settings, tap Manage access. You have the following options:
      • Permissions (for folders only): Choose whether other people are allowed to make changes to the folder.
        • Viewer: View and download only
        • Editor: Add, rename, and remove files
      • Password protection: You can protect the share with a password. If you select Editor under Permissions, a password is mandatory.
      • Expiration: Specify how long the sharing link should remain valid.
      When you are finished with the settings, tap the back icon at the top left. You can adjust the sharing settings at any time afterward.
    4. To share via another app, tap the share icon at the bottom right and select the desired app.
    The item is opened in the chosen application.
