The mail.com Cloud App for iOS offers you the option of scanning documents
directly from the app itself, using your device’s camera. The scans taken will then be saved
directly in your mail.com Cloud App for iOS.

For this feature, please ensure that you have granted permission for the use of your camera by the mail.com Cloud App for iOS.
If access is denied, you can grant permission in your iPhone or iPad settings under “Data protection – camera”.
In the mail.com Mail App for iOS, go to Files in the bottom navigation bar
and tap the plus symbol in the upper right corner.
A context menu will appear at the bottom of the screen.
Tap Scan documents.
Your device‘s camera application will be opened.
Take a photo.

If the document is easily recognizable for the GMX Mail app for iOS
(e.g., because it stands out clearly from the background), it will be
added to the scans automatically without needing to press the white
button.
If you are not happy with the scan taken, tap
Retake to retake the shot.
If you are happy with the photo, tap Keep Scan to
save it in your Cloud.
You have taken a photo and saved it directly with your mail.com Cloud App for iOS.
