Integration on Mac OS

If you are using Mac OS, you can connect your mail.com Cloud as a network drive and manage files directly on your computer.

Requirements: Access via "https" works in Mac OS version 10.4 or later.
  1. Set up an application-specific password and make a note of it.
  2. In the Finder on your Mac, choose GoConnect to Server....
  3. Enter https://storage-file-us.mail.com/ as the network address and click Connect.
  4. Enter your mail.com email address and the application-specific password you created in step 1.
  5. Confirm by clicking Connect.

If you retrieve your emails via POP3/IMAP, you will then need a separate application-specific password. Use this instead of your usual password in the email programme or the email app provided by the other provider.
