All relevant information regarding the fields of an email (From, To, Cc, Bcc and Subject) can be found here.
Field | Description |
---|---|
From | By default, your mail.com email address and the name you saved in your mail.com Account appear here. If you configure a Mail Collector, you can also select the external email addresses as an alias. You can also select a sender address without a name. You can define the default address (with or without a sender name) in the email address settings. |
To | Enter the email address(es) of the recipient(s) in this field. In our global effort against spam, we have implemented automated spam protection systems. This limits the total amount of recipients for each email. The limit is high but is adjusted by our anti-spam team if necessary. |
Cc | In this field, enter contacts to whom you want to send a copy of the actual message. The email addresses entered here are visible for all recipients. |
Bcc | In this field, enter contacts to whom you want to send a blind carbon copy of the actual message. The email addresses entered here are invisible for all other recipients. |
Subject | Ideally, you should enter a brief summary of the contents in the subject of the email. A clear, concise subject allows the recipient to quickly understand what the email is about and process it. |
