How to set up Mail Collector

The Mail Collector feature allows you to import emails from third-party accounts into your mail.com inbox. You can change your Mail Collector settings any time.

Requirements:

You may have to enable POP3/IMAP in your external email account.

Info:

For Google mailboxes: If you want to set up a Mail Collector for a Google mailbox, you have to activate Two-Step Verification in your Google Account settings and set up an App Password for the Mail Collector.

How to create a Mail Collector
  1. Click on Settings.
  2. Select Mail Collector.
  3. Enter the email address and the associated password.
  4. Select the appropriate options:
    • If the email should be deleted from the other mailbox after they are retrieved
    • If the retrieved email should be saved in a separate folder
  5. Click on Save.
How to edit an existing Mail Collector mailbox
  1. Click on Settings.
  2. Select Mail Collector.
  3. Move your mouse over the appropriate Mail Collector address and click the wrench icon.
  4. Change the relevant data and click Save.
How to delete a Mail Collector mailbox
  1. Click on Settings.
  2. Select Mail Collector.
  3. Move your mouse over the appropriate Mail Collector address and click the delete icon.
