Synchronizing Contacts and Calendar

You can synchronize your mail.com address book and your mail.com calendar with the mail.com Mail App for iOS.

Synchronizing Contacts
  1. Set up an application-specific password and make a note of it.
  2. On your iPhone home screen, open Settings.
  3. Tap on Contacts.



  4. Tap on Accounts.
  5. Tap on Add Account.
  6. Tap on Other.

  7. Tap on Add CardDAV Account.
  8. Enter the server address carddav.mail.com in the Server field.
  9. Enter your mail.com email address in the Username field and the application-specific password you created in step 1 in the Password field.



  10. Tap on Next.
  11. Tap on Save.
Your mail.com contact list will now sync with your iPhone contacts.

If you retrieve your emails via POP3/IMAP, you will then need a separate application-specific password. Use this instead of your usual password in the email programme or the email app provided by the other provider.

Synchronizing Calendar
  1. On your iPhone home screen, open Settings.
  2. Tap on Calendar.



  3. Tap on Accounts.
  4. Tap on Add Account.
  5. Tap on Other.

  6. Tap on Add CalDAV Account.
  7. Enter the server address caldav.mail.com in the Server field.
  8. Enter your mail.com email address in the Username field and your mail.comAccount password in the Password field.



  9. Tap on Next.
  10. Tap on Save.
Your mail.com calendar will now sync with your iPhone calendar.
